Students are also learning in their technology class about how to make a 3D design from scratch, and are excited see it print. Some of the students work on similar projects, so having received this gift of filament allows more students to print their work and with a choice of colors the student's designs to become more unique. \r\n\r\nWhen you view the pictures from our projects so far, you will see that we have printed a variety of different projects. The first project shown in the photo with the large quantity of blue gears. This printing allowed us to increase the number of pieces available for building robots. Other projects involved learning about changing the size, orientation, colors, and supports used to make decorations for the fall holidays, which were used our lab. \r\n\r\nWith our recent projects, we have peaked the interest of more students to the world of 3D printing. Moving forward, we plan to increase student access to the printers through passes to visit the lab at lunch and also to teach our students about coloring a multi-colored design on our newest 3D printer which is specialized or multicolored designs, and requires four spools of filament at one time. It would not be possible to expand the number of students involved in 3D printing without your gift of filament.","fullyFundedDate":1757325285372,"projectUrl":"project/bringing-ful-filament-to-stem/9652555/","projectTitle":"Bringing Ful-Filament to STEM","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Lizama","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp10225309_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1756665989303","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/stemin3d"},{"teacherId":8421448,"projectId":9410719,"letterContent":"At Old Mill Middle South we help cultivate a culture of respect and community through the use of Pride Pays.
