Its will a great sense of gratitude and heartfelt thanks for your generous contribution to our class. Everyday since being at OHS, I have enjoyed teaching my classes both AP statistics and Dual Enrollment (statistics and college algebra). The students are a joy and the environment is wonderful to work in. Your contribution helps makes class fun, enjoyable and deep learning take place through the activities that inspire students to take a critical eye at how we examine data, how we use data and where data can come from. The students appreciate the snacks while learning. Its a great boost to morale but also allows them to engage in looking at the everyday household items through a new lens. One of our favorite activities is to compare skittles and mms' the distribution of colors in the candies. Your contribution helps make this possible. Another favorite activity is doing a chi -square activity with gummy bears/gummy candies - we will do this activity later in the course but again your donation helped to make this possible.
