When the two robot dogs and the breathing cat arrived, my students were absolutely amazed. Their eyes lit up, and the room was buzzing with questions and joy. One student gently hugged the breathing cat and said, \"It's like a real baby animal!\"—a moment none of us will forget.\r\nWe've been using our new class pets every day during circle time and center activities. The robot dogs have become a fun way to introduce early concepts like following directions, turn-taking, and cause-and-effect. Students love taking turns \"training\" the dogs, which helps build social skills and cooperation. The breathing cat has been especially meaningful during quiet time and social-emotional lessons. Students practice being gentle, caring, and calm while holding or sitting рядом with it, learning how to show kindness and empathy.\r\nOne special classroom moment happened during a sharing activity when a student who is usually very shy volunteered to hold the breathing cat and talk about how to take care of it. The class listened внимательно, and several students added their own ideas about feeding, loving, and keeping pets safe. It turned into a beautiful conversation about responsibility and feelings.\r\nLooking ahead, we are incorporating our class pets into storytelling and imaginative play. Students will create simple stories about their \"pets,\" practice sequencing events, and even role-play as veterinarians or pet owners. These activities will continue to build language skills, creativity, and emotional awareness.\r\nYour generosity has brought comfort, joy, and meaningful learning experiences into our classroom. These class pets are more than just fun—they are helping our youngest learners grow in confidence, compassion, and curiosity every single day.
