My third grade students were so excited when the games arrived! These games really engaged my students in learning! During part of our math block, I gave my students a set of word problem task cards based on the skill we were working on. Students took turns drawing a card. All students on a team worked out the problems. If they got the answer right and the whole team agreed on a final answer, that student got to take a turn on the game board. Students loved practicing what we were learning! Some students even asked to play during our indoor recess on rainy days they could not play outside.
