We were able to receive all the supplies we needed to crochet hats and scarves in class.\r\n\r\nWe began our project by learning how to crochet hats. Students worked in groups of 2-3 on one loom. They were easily able to follow the steps to create a hat and add a pom pom to the top. Working together fostered cooperation, compassion and fun!\r\n\r\nAs students became experts at making hats, some students wanted to learn how to make scarves. Making scarves is a little bit more challenging, so it was exciting to see some students choose to take on a challenge. \r\n\r\nWe have completed 15 hats as of today, as well as have 6 more in progress and 4 scarves that should be completed by the end of the year.
