Research shows that the more students read, the better they become at reading comprehension. I believe in fifteen minutes of free choice reading every day in my classroom. In order for my students to be excited about reading everyday, I need to have a wide variety of books available for students to select from. In this donor's choose project, I am working to enhance my fantasy, poetry, graphic novel, nonfiction and traditional literature sections of my classroom library. I also would like to give my students a variety of seating choices in my class so students are comfortable while reading.

About my class
