My school building is 100 years old. Right now, it is colder than ever, so it's hard to imagine when it will be unbearably hot again, but the time will come! Our school does not have air conditioning and even opening windows doesn't help. It is stifling in the classroom, making it difficult to concentrate and to feel comfortable and ready to learn. My classroom is double the size of the other classrooms. I know that my co-workers with one portable air conditioning unit are comfortable in their classrooms during the hot spring/fall/summer months, so I know that the two units that you have provided will be very welcomed in my classroom when the time comes! I think that our attendance will be higher, because when the kids are having fun AND they are comfortable, they are ready to learn, and that's one of our goals at Nolan Elementary/Middle School!\r\nWhen my children saw the numbers for the rug, they loved the colors and they loved getting assigned a number. It helps them with organization, and they also love comparing their numbers with their classmates. They are really learning their numbers, and they get excited when we use them every day in class as we are learning!
