Before, they had ideas and designs in their head, and now that we have a 3D printer through your generous donation, my students see a product in their hand rather than just a design in their head. I see the door open with the pride and ownership of what they can create. \r\n\r\nWe wrote this grant to be able to create QR codes for a digital Roots project. We want the QR code to scan to the videos and podcast that we are creating to preserve the history of the Newburg neighborhood. We have not created our QR codes yet, but with their designs and trials so far, I know that they are coming soon. \r\n\r\nThe most exciting thing about this product is that is can print in more than one color. One of my students who has a 3D printer, is truly amazed. To see his eyes light up is priceless. \r\n\r\nWe also hope to start solving problems in our school with the 3D printer.
