We use one or both of these items every single day in our classroom. Each student has their own glue bottle to attach fill-in-the-blank notes into their interactive notebooks. Having individual bottles allows this process to move much more efficiently than if students had to share, and the gallon jug of glue will be extremely helpful once those bottles need to be refilled.\r\n\r\nThis year, I noticed that many students were struggling significantly with their math facts—enter flashcards! Each week, we focus on a different math fact. Students are assessed at the beginning and end of the week to track their progress, and midweek they work with a partner to review using the flashcards. I have seen tremendous growth not only in their math fact mastery, but also in their confidence.\r\n\r\nThank you for partnering with me and my students by providing the tools they need to be successful. When I informed my students about the new materials they were excited to learn about how to use them. My students were soon taking to their computers and were looking up ideas on how to use them. \r\n\r\nWhile some of my students are still wary about how to use them, and being afraid to break them. When demonstrating what the numerous possibilities were, my students fear seem to be lessened. \r\n\r\nMany of my students do not have a lot of access to technology, with the exception of a cell phone and a school issued Chromebook. The introduction of any new technology is received with a mix of trepidation and excitement.
