I own a variety of apps for the two iPad I currently own. These apps help students visualize and manipulate mathematical concepts. I'm sure you are aware of the advantages of having an iPad has on the learning process are endless. Similar to mankind's acquisition of writing, the iPad has the ability to extend one's self as a form of understanding and expression. This device allows multiple ways for the for the student to engage information and receive it in a way that is meaningful to them. The programs on the iPad used will differentiate the curriculum content in a way so that is accessible. This diverse device allows access to the curriculum but also provides tools used to develop executive functions skills need to develop our 21st century learners. The device is great for socializing the class, when it offers a platform for dialog between students.
