By receiving books that the students want to read, they are more apt to continue to want to read. By wanting to read they improve their chances of doing better on comprehension tests and improving reading skills. I have students that clamor for certain books when they enter the Library. I do not have enough of these book and many students are dissaponted and do not choose books then, slowly their reading growth. Without these vital reading skills, my students will fall behind the national standards and struggle through their educational career. The loss of these skills can effect their lives by not achieving their goals.

About my class
