It was a great feeling when I found out that this project was fully funded before Valentine's Day. I was able to read the book that talked about friendship. The students were given the time to make a friendship bracelet for someone in the classroom. They had so much fun because they had to ask a peer questions about what they liked, and added something that connected to what their peer liked to their bracelet.\r\nThe students loved this activity so much that we have been doing it every two weeks. Students are given a different student in the classroom, and make a friendship bracelet that connects to what they like. I feel that the classroom environment has changed since making a friendship bracelet. It truly has helped my students and me in regulating our emotions. I had seen these posters on social media. I thought they were great; I'm glad I made a DonorsChoose project on these.\r\nWhen we first got these posters, we looked at them together. We practiced different breathing techniques, which I didn't know we could do, depending on how you feel. The students practiced as a whole and really enjoyed the images that came with the poster.\r\nWhenever students feel upset, many of them know where to go and what to do.
