It is also nice to be able to add some non-edibles to the snack cart like the Kawaii Mochi Squishy Toys, party favors, and Dinosaur Bubble Wands that you so graciously donated. The laminator is a very necessary addition; it helps me stay organized. I can laminate charts, lists, schedule etc. to keep me \"operating smoothly. I also laminated several illustrations to hang on my white board to help the kiddos identify emotional regulation. Other teachers use it as well! \r\n\r\nMost of my students are high functioning autistic children. All the sensory toys help my students with spatial relationships, grounding, and just fun! In the short period of time that I have had these items, I have found them to be fascinated, creative, and excited to play with everything. I have a Lego dinosaur that is almost completed and a Lego sports car almost ready for the road. I love to see that they are able to read directions and build things independently. The magnetic blocks and magnetic plastic shapes quickly turn into houses, buildings, and furniture. My younger kiddos love the finger mazes and bead maze, they spend a lot of time with them. Very good tactile sensorics.\r\n\r\nThe puppets are a huge success! And I am so glad I got the stand for them to sit on, making them more accessible and keeping them clean. I am extracting wonderful narratives, and their storytelling abilities are improving. I plan to advance to having them produce a play with their characters. The Jenga is an excellent tool for my ADHD kiddos to use for working on concentration and reducing impulsivity. The interest level is high and I am seeing improved skills already. We have enjoyed blowing bubbles and balancing them on the stick to practice focusing as well. I am glad I got that set of little jars for them! My artists love the etch a sketch and have a new outlet for their talent. \r\n\r\nMy carpet with the planets brightened up the modular unit we are in and made it more comfy. They love picking out the planets and my space planet fidget is a big favorite. I got two chairs with dinosaurs, and they are so soft and comfy to sit in, they love it. My giant teddy bear has already been named Mr. Snuggles and the kids love him. My plush alligator, manatee and of course the weighted Stitch are adored. I cannot thank you enough for all the learning/play opportunities you have provided for these students. You have brought so much joy, ways to express, and grow it is amazing. My kiddos will succeed thanks to your helpful motivators! Because of your kindness, my gifted students now have access to the painting materials and diorama supplies they need to bring their advanced research projects to life. We've already begun using the new resources as students explore creative ways to visually represent complex ideas. One student, after researching axolotls, created a detailed diorama of its habitat—complete with carefully painted plants, rocks, and a miniature version of the amphibian itself. Another has been eagerly preparing to paint a portrait of Abraham Lincoln as part of his historical research, while a third is building an ocean diorama inspired by his study of whales. Watching them translate their research into vivid, hands-on creations has been truly inspiring.\r\n\r\nWhen my students first saw the materials, their excitement filled the room. Many immediately began planning how they could elevate their projects—sketching ideas, testing colors, and imagining details they could now bring to life.
