The Lego Spike Prime kits has been used to teach my students how to code and problem solve. In groups, they are getting the much needed practice of problem solving as they have to design and built the Spike prime robots. Through a series of trial and error, they then have to decide on pathways for the robot to take in accomplishing missions. \r\n\r\nAs students navigate through coding practice, they develop both the stamina to continue trying and the much needed ongoing communication with their peers. They must decide, regroup and continue trying again. There is always improvements to do and students learn the value of teamwork. They learn to value each other's contribution and focus on one common goal.
