Technology has been supremely beneficial for helping my students meet their own individual needs for learning. I attempt to engage them more by utilizing technology in balance with novels and hands-on materials. Flocabulary is an excellent resource for making meaningful connections with the students to the reading skills they are learning. Charlotte's Web is a classic novel that hooks students with vocabulary and characters that truly fascinate them. I will use Flocabulary videos when introducing a new skill and quizzes as a pre-assessment for students. I am choosing these products to help create an awesome 3rd grade year for my leaders.
