When I learned that my school was going to toss out 6 monitors I decided to find a way to re-purpose them. I discovered that if each monitor had a computer unit (CPU) they would function perfectly. So instead of spending at least $500 per new computer system, we could simply purchase a computer unit (CPU) for $160, thus saving hundreds of dollars. The computer units I'm asking for will be used to run the robotics simulation software. Currently we are handicapped in that the 6 computers that we had were deemed unusable. My goal is to re-purpose them with funding from this project. We are trying to give our robotics team a competitive edge at competitions. Help with this project will both benefit our team and prevent additional e-waste.
