This allowed them to focus fully on the experiment, collaborate effectively with their peers, and stay engaged from start to finish.\r\n\r\nWhen my students first saw the new materials, they were excited and immediately eager to help organize the classroom. For example, during a recent reading project where students worked in small groups to analyze characters, having snacks available helped them stay engaged and collaborate more effectively.\r\n\r\nWhen my students first saw the shelves filled with snacks, their faces lit up with joy and relief. Many of them couldn't believe the snacks were really for them. It was a powerful reminder of how much even a small gesture can mean to a child.\r\n\r\nWith their basic needs met, my students are ready to dive deeper into our current projects. Right now, we're working on building stronger reading stamina and writing skills, and having the right fuel is helping them stay focused during independent reading and writing time. It has been handy in providing them evidence that they can use in their Google Slides.\r\n What was most exciting for the students is that some of them discovered that they actually have skills in pickleball. It has given them some newfound confidence in their athletic ability. For a teacher, it has been heartwarming to witness the growth in their both their fine and gross motor skills, as well as seeing teamwork develop among them.\r\n There were students who gravitated toward the GoPro camera because it is not something that they use everyday. It is through your generous donation that helped motivate our students to work their way to success.\r\n\r\nStudents were able to review material with enthusiasm as they earned rewards such as chips or small candies. Our class also had a monthly incentive in which students accumulated stamp cards to earn prizes each month.
