When the new home arrived for 'Dragon' three students volunteered to put the terrarium together and decorate the new home. \r\n\r\nSince the home has been delivered, I have upgraded dragon's lighting, and he is a happy camper romping around. The new home allows me to showcase to the students how important proper husbandry is to bearded dragons. \r\n\r\nDragon is an asset to our classroom; he helps to emotionally regulate some students. He is an affectionate dragon that loves to be held. Having him the classroom has also allowed me to raise dubia roaches and mill worms to keep him fed. I have noticed the relief in my students eyes knowing we can have a nutritional snack to help them finish the day stronger than the day before. I get students from all over the school coming for a snack to get them through the day. Teachers send me their students that they know need a boost.
