This year, the next round of 4th graders are enjoying the headphones. They can peacefully do their work and not have to worry about others being distracted or having headaches from the overtimulation of noise. \r\n\r\nWe love it and look forward to to using it more as we innovate assignments and able to listen to voice recordings without interruptions and in privacy. Students have used the microphone to record themselves reading fluency passages and listening to their reading. This aides them in making corrections and improving their reading fluency without being concerned about peers listening to them.","fullyFundedDate":1733492683382,"projectUrl":"project/peace-and-quiet-with-technology/8638457/","projectTitle":"Peace and Quiet With Technology","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Kounthong","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/272x272/tp3902083_272x272.jpg?width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1473913629692","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/ms-kounthong"},{"teacherId":7508123,"projectId":8717655,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for helping our class get the headphones we needed. Ours were in such bad shape. \r\n\r\nAs we work on iReady, students enjoy using the headphones so they can hear the sounds in the program. This keeps it much more interactive for them. Without headphones, we were having to just silence the program all together. \r\n\r\nThe headphones are also making it easier for some of our lower readers. Many of the programs we use have a speaker link to access the audio feature of the program. This helps to ensure all students are getting the information.","fullyFundedDate":1725919802401,"projectUrl":"project/headphones-for-privacy/8717655/","projectTitle":"Headphones for Privacy!","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Trillo","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp7508123_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1625835111558","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/7508123"},{"teacherId":1068090,"projectId":8742672,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for the headphones with speakers. My students have loved recording themselves as they are reading. They get really excited and want to do it everyday! It's been a joy to watch them practice their fluency and accuracy. My students are even re-recording themselves to make their reading sound better. \r\nOur class just took their reading fluency test this week and their accuracy rate went up on every student. Their fluency words per minute has gone up too.
