All of the requested resources are books that have been suggested in the Hope Squad lesson curriculum. The Hope Squad curriculum is used to not only train Hope Squads, but it is also appropriate to teach in classroom lessons during counselor classroom collaborative instruction. The books will benefit 4th and 6th graders the most, but all grades in the elementary receive classroom instruction that incorporates many of the books. There are an increased number of students who are experiencing mental health challenges in light of COVID-19, and the books will help teach essential coping skills.
