We are using the materials during guided art projects that support fine motor skills, sensory exploration, and emotional expression, and one especially powerful moment was seeing students proudly share their artwork with peers—some for the very first time. When the supplies arrived, their excitement was immediate; many students were eager to explore the textures and colors, and several asked to start creating right away. Moving forward, students will continue using these materials in structured art lessons connected to social-emotional learning and communication goals, as well as in independent choice activities that encourage creativity and self-advocacy.
