We have given time back to theatre, our custodians, and the other performing groups on campus. Before we received these supplies we needed to take our hard-working custodians away from the rest of the school, we no longer have to wait in line until they are free. Now that we are in our busy build season, we are able to quickly clean up which allows our actors, dancers, and band members access to a clean stage.","fullyFundedDate":1754491207940,"projectUrl":"project/help-keep-our-theatre-safe-clean-and-i/9437265/","projectTitle":"Help Keep Our Theatre Safe, Clean, and Inviting for All!","teacherDisplayName":"Mr. Borunda","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9883996_orig.png?width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1751051115975","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/mr-borunda"},{"teacherId":9883996,"projectId":9438838,"letterContent":"We are incredibly grateful for your contribution to our theatre department. Our theatre has held up with its original materials since 1996. Because of this, some things naturally get worn down-no matter how sturdy things are. That aged invites a feeling of lethargy.\r\n The LED lights, although they seem to be simple, have increased enthusiasm in our theatre department, our school pep rallies, and in the classroom. Our theatre department has been working with various combinations with stage lighting to get the most out of our productions while learning how to be stronger lighting technicians. Our pep rallies and speakers feel like they are in a more elevated environment with the LED lights and they provide dim mood/safety lighting when the LEDs are on by themselves. In class the lights provide dim performance lightings for class projects while students fill out their critiques in the audience. I have also been using the adjustable color function as a reward for students.\r\n Thank you for helping us create a welcoming environment at Molina High School Theatre.","fullyFundedDate":1752851366292,"projectUrl":"project/light-up-our-lives/9438838/","projectTitle":"Light Up Our Lives!","teacherDisplayName":"Mr. Borunda","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9883996_orig.png?width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1751051115975","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/mr-borunda"},{"teacherId":9080736,"projectId":9350020,"letterContent":"Thanks to these new books, my students are genuinely excited to read! We've started free-reading, where everyone chooses a book that interests them. It's important to have a variety of genres, topics, characters, text lengths, and lexile levels represented in my classroom library. Your book donation helped to fill some gaps in my library.\r\n\r\nThis freedom has improved engagement, stamina, and comprehension—skills that support everything we do in English. Most of my students in a Title 1 school have never been given the opportunity to self-select a text to read. A few reluctant readers now ask for extra time to read, which makes my teacher heart so happy! \r\n\r\nThanks again for your book donation.","fullyFundedDate":1752357352217,"projectUrl":"project/oak-cliff-reads/9350020/","projectTitle":"Oak Cliff Reads","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Brough","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-9_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9080736"},{"teacherId":9080736,"projectId":9240235,"letterContent":"My students were so excited when the snacks arrived!
