The students are learning how to live, essentially. My work is dedicated to creating learning experiences that will directly affect my students' activities of daily living. They need aprons while cooking to protect their school clothes. I will need to print in color, laminate and post learning visuals to direct their hands-on learning. We will need glue and colored-pencils to make reading and math lessons rememberable by coloring, cutting and manipulating worksheets. The gloves, baby wipes, and adult diapers are to support students who need supplies that are not consistently provided from home. I hope to never have a moment where my students lack.
