Because of your kindness, my students have had access to hands-on materials that are already making a meaningful difference in their learning and development.\r\nThey put in and take out tasks. You help provide have been, especially impactful for my students. These activities have strengthened their fine motor skills and improved their hand eye coordination as they practice, grasping, releasing, and manipulating small objects. For many of my students, these skills are foundational and require repeated, intentional practice. Your donation has given them exactly that opportunity.\r\nThe special tripod grasp tweezers have been another incredible tool in our classroom. Using these tweezers has helped strengthen finger muscles while encouraging the development of a functional tripod grasp. This has directly supported my students as they work toward greater independence, with writing, coloring, dressing, and other early academics.\r\nThe sensory stretchy tubes have also played an important role in our daily routines. These tools have helped students calm their bodies, regulate their emotions, and stay engage, engaged in learning. At the same time, they have supported fine motor development through stretch, stretching, pulling, and controlled movement, meeting, both sensory and motor needs in a meaningful way.\r\nYour generosity has not only provided materials, it has created opportunities for growth, confidence, and success for my students. Thank you for believing in our classroom and for making such a positive impact on the lives of young learners with special needs. We are deeply grateful for your support.","fullyFundedDate":1758516912259,"projectUrl":"project/tools-for-tiny-hands-skills-for-life-lo/9738072/","projectTitle":"Tools for Tiny Hands, Skills for Life-Long Learning","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Buie","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-3_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9377965"},{"teacherId":7076478,"projectId":8354823,"letterContent":"The children are using the art materials to create colorful projects. Most of the children chose the art area to begin work time. The children used the materials in a variety of ways. The children's eyes lit up like it was Christmas morning when we received the new materials. \r\n\r\nThe children's \"work time\", or child led playtime, has been escalated to a new level. The children have \"gone in a picnic\" with the play food and tea set. I have read \"We're Going on a Bear Hunt\" about four times a day, as it's one of my student's favorite books. Afterwards, she will get a pair of binoculars and some friends and act out the story in the classroom. They have built rocket ships and houses for animals out of the Lego Duplos. Some children don't know the letters of the alphabet, and the Alphabet Song, to them is just words. With the Alpha-bots, they have a visual of the letters, are starting to recognize letters of the alphabet.\r\n\r\nI could not have accomplished getting the materials without your help and support. It is so rewarding to see the children's learning grow in just a short time, and will continue to grow throughout this school year and beyond. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts.","fullyFundedDate":1759066089164,"projectUrl":"project/lets-give-preschoolers-a-great-start-to/9671386/","projectTitle":"Let’s Give Preschoolers a Great Start to Learning Life Skills","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Becca","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-10_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10236038"},{"teacherId":9902951,"projectId":9071923,"letterContent":"I want to take a moment to thank you for your generosity in supporting our classroom and providing us with our new listening center. Your gift has truly made a difference in the daily learning experiences of my preschoolers, and I'm so excited to share the impact it has had.\r\n\r\nAlthough many people are familiar with technology at home, it can look quite different in a school setting. In our classroom, the listening center gives students the opportunity to follow along with books as they listen to stories being read aloud. This not only helps them develop stronger vocabulary and comprehension skills, but it also builds early literacy confidence as they begin to recognize words on the page. The technology allows multiple children to engage with the same story at the same time, encouraging collaboration, discussion, and a shared love of books.\r\n\r\nThe most exciting part for my students is having the independence to use the listening center on their own. They love putting on the headphones, pressing play, and immersing themselves in a story. It makes reading feel like an adventure and turns our quiet corner into one of the most popular places in the classroom.\r\n\r\nSome of my quieter students, who were hesitant to read aloud or join group activities, have especially warmed to the listening center. Having the chance to listen and follow along privately has built their confidence, and I've noticed them becoming more eager to participate in whole-group storytime and conversations. It has given them a safe and enjoyable way to strengthen their skills and feel proud of themselves.\r\n\r\nThank you again for investing in my students' learning. Your kindness has not only provided us with a new tool, but it has also created joyful moments of discovery, confidence, and growth in our classroom.","fullyFundedDate":1741620162306,"projectUrl":"project/reading-is-the-fundamental-of-learning/9071923/","projectTitle":"Reading Is the Fundamental of Learning","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Chas","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9902951_orig.jpg?crop=3472,3472,x0,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1737321921076","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9902951"},{"teacherId":9871527,"projectId":9002004,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for your donations towards our classroom art supplies. The children were blown away and very excited to start using them! The first day they walked in and saw the easel, they couldn't contain their excitement and all asked to go work in the art area during choice time.\r\n\r\nSince there was so much excitement for the easel, we first let them use paint sticks, so they could practice being patient and waiting for a turn. Paint sticks dry faster than traditional paint, so they were able to paint one painting and then switch out with a friend who was waiting. At times they were frustrated waiting, but quickly learned patience. \r\n\r\nWe have loved being able to add different art supplies for them to explore gradually and the children have learned to share the space and supplies. They have begun creating art projects together! \r\n\r\nThe additional supplies of markers, marker holders, playdough and sponge brushes have been used to enhance our small group time. The children have learned how to treat the supplies with respect and share when needed. Their communication skills with each other have increased so much.
