The art easel and art supplies will continue to enhance the creativity I strive to create in my classroom art area. The art area is a place where children can come to experience a variety of materials that help strengthen their fine motor development while also building their creativity. Stringing beads and doing stickers are directly related to strengthening the muscles needed for writing and other more advanced fine motor tasks. It is a place where they can choose to work independently or with friends on a cooperative art project which strengthens their social skills. The art easels will allow the children the ability to interact with their peers while working on their masterpieces and the close proximity of the art stations allows for collaboration if desired!
