The carpet dots and library cushions made them feel like they had their own special places in the classroom, and they were so proud to use the new resources.\r\n\r\nNext, students will continue using the manipulatives to build stronger number sense by composing and decomposing numbers, solving word problems, and explaining their thinking using models. We will also introduce more math games using the counters and bears to strengthen math fact fluency through play.
