My favorite part, of course, is the discussion I have with each student as they \"publish\" their mask to me. \r\nAnyone who walks by the class stops and comes in to see the masks, they are that beautiful. The tea cart has been a hit. Students have truly enjoyed getting themselves tea and enjoying a biscuit while they are doing their work. It is also cold and flu season and the tea has come in clutch for scratchy throats. \r\n\r\nThe students were so excited when they came to class and saw the pink cart loaded up with tea, hot chocolate, and cookies. One student said, \"That is the sweetest thing to do for us.\" So, a mini-grant like this is worth its weight in gold because it makes students feel seen, nurtured, and warms our bellies on a cold fall day. The stuffed animals proved to be a hit and they were gifted to the students who relied on them the most.
