My live online lessons involve giving short explanations, reviewing assignments, and sharing my screen with students, shifting between apps and sites like YouTube, Google Classroom, PowerPoint, and Google Drive. Doing this for 45+ hours per week during a pandemic has almost crippled my old computer. It's not uncommon for my faithful computer to eject me from a Google Meet! Pulling disappearing acts is excellent for magicians but not so great for teachers (my students have been so supportive!). The 16" MacBook Pro is a powerhouse that will enhance my preparation and delivery of engaging, high-quality lessons.
