My students live in a low-income neighborhood where parents/guardians have to worry about the food they're going to provide and the bills they're going to pay. When you fund a classroom with a demographic like mine you are helping students who statistically are set to fail due to lack of resources. Funding our project helped the classroom become a level field where all students can learn because all resources are provided for. \r\nIn addition, this project in particular was about ensuring that we can have reusable items to learn with to help in conservation of resources but also ensuring there is less waste in the world. The world is struggling right now, I'm sure you can agree too. So teaching students conservation practices like using reusable resources helps them understand the ease of doing their part to help the planet, even if it is a small step. \r\n\r\nThank you again for helping my students with the resources they need. They are a fun way to celebrate students when they work hard, show kindness, follow classroom expectations, or reach an academic goal.\r\nThe classroom plug-in has also helped create a fresh and welcoming environment where my students can feel comfortable and ready to learn each day.\r\nMy students were so excited when they first saw the new materials! They were especially eager to use their ABC folders and begin practicing their letters. The reward system also motivated them to work hard and make positive choices. It was wonderful to see their smiles and excitement while celebrating their accomplishments.\r\n\r\nOur next step is to continue building strong letter-recognition and handwriting skills as we work through the alphabet.
