They students can stay and work in that center for the entire free choice time. The sensory blocks have been particularly popular with my students who have autism. Due to budget cuts the school no longer supplies these needed snacks. Our young ladies have the pads and supplies for that time of month to continue being successful in the classroom. Most inner city youth do not have menstrual products for home or school.
