However, after a quick lesson on \"Choosing What You Need\" versus \"Choosing What You Want,\" they quickly adapted.\r\n\r\nIn Speech Therapy Groups, the flexible seating helps create a calm and regulated environment essential for communication practice. A student working on articulation often finds it easier to focus on producing sounds correctly when using a sensory cushion on their chair to meet their sensory needs, rather than being forced into a rigid desk chair. It's amazing how something so small can encourage such big effort and positivity!\r\n\r\nWhen the boxes arrived, the excitement was contagious! The students gasped when they saw the bright rainbow rug being rolled out and immediately began picking their favorite color spots to sit on. They were just as thrilled to try out the new whiteboard clipboards and couldn't stop erasing and rewriting answers.
