Your thoughtfulness and support have already made a meaningful impact, and we are truly grateful for your commitment to literacy, learning, and student success.\r\n\r\nThe library is often described as the heart of a school, and your donation has helped strengthen that heart in a very tangible way. The book stands you provided are already being used daily by students and teachers, enhancing how books are displayed, shared, and enjoyed. Whether supporting read-alouds, showcasing featured titles, or helping students follow along during group lessons, these stands have proven to be both practical and transformative.\r\n\r\nOne of the most immediate benefits we have seen is increased student engagement. When books are displayed clearly and attractively, they invite curiosity. Students are naturally drawn to visible covers and pages, which sparks interest and encourages exploration. Thanks to your donation, books are no longer flat on tables or hidden on shelves during instruction — they are proudly displayed, easily accessible, and celebrated. This simple change has already helped foster excitement around reading and discovery.\r\n\r\nYour generosity also supports our educators in meaningful ways. Teachers and library staff now have tools that make instruction more effective and inclusive. During story times, lessons, and small-group activities, book stands allow all students — including those seated farther away or those who benefit from visual supports — to fully participate. This promotes equity in learning and ensures that every child has the opportunity to engage with literature in a way that feels welcoming and accessible.\r\n\r\nBeyond their immediate use, the book stands represent something even greater: a shared belief in the power of books and the importance of investing in young readers. Your support sends a powerful message to our students that their education matters and that their community believes in their potential. Many of our students may not yet realize the behind-the-scenes efforts that make their learning environment richer, but they feel the impact every day — in the excitement of choosing a new book, in the comfort of a shared story, and in the confidence that comes from being supported.\r\n\r\nPlease know that your donation will continue to benefit our library for years to come. The book stands are durable, versatile, and will be used across grade levels and programs, supporting countless lessons, stories, and moments of learning. Each time a student discovers a new favorite book or listens intently during a read-aloud, your generosity will be part of that experience.\r\n\r\nThank you once again for your kindness, generosity, and dedication to supporting literacy and education. We are deeply appreciative of your partnership and are honored to have your support. Should you ever visit our library, we would be delighted to show you how your donation is being used and the difference it continues to make.\r\n\r\nWith sincere gratitude,","fullyFundedDate":1769177854658,"projectUrl":"project/book-stands-for-the-library/9870977/","projectTitle":"Book Stands for the Library","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Fleming","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-7_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9791852"},{"teacherId":6559169,"projectId":9966592,"letterContent":"Thank you for your generous donation for my low income students who were suffering from the government shut down, and losing their snap benefits. I am teaching two different classes this semester and both of them use my classroom library! My sophomore classes read independently Mondays and Fridays for the first 15 minutes of class each week. Sometimes this is the only opportunity these students get to read a book of their choice. Some of my students really struggle with choosing a book that they love so having familiar books from shows like One Piece is so helpful. Students not only use these books to read for pleasure, but students also use these books for grammar \"in context\" lesson. I have students look for things like strong verbs, adjectives, and \"golden lines\" throughout the school year as well. \r\n\r\nMy other class is Reading for Pleasure. This class is all about building a reading community. Every day students read at least 30 minutes and write journal entries over what they read. After that they share their progress with a partner. So far, students in this class have collectively read over 19 books! This is amazing - especially when you take in the fact that some of these students have NEVER independently finished a book before!
