This has also aided in their small motor development which is essential for writing. The Montessori sorting tray and tracing board are left out for them to use at any time and boy have they responded to it! They are continuously seeking the boards and learning from them. They are collaborating with friends to complete the tasks.\r\nhe Montessori counting beads are not only intriguing to them, but they use them in combination with the boards to sort them. They enjoy sequencing the beads from smallest to largest and building teen numbers with them. The\"tens\" bead have enable a alternative view to the blocks.\r\nFinally, the magnetic letters have been AMAZING! the students have responded so well to them. They build letters, their names, cvc words, and numbers... all in sequential order. I cannot thank you enough for the opportunistic, open-ended learning that is happening in my classroom, thanks to you! We have recently adopted AVID in the elementary grades and having these bins have enabled me to model the need for organization.\r\n Additionally, having the new Playstix and acrylic cubes have inspired creativity and imaginations through building and exploring. Students have created patterns, built structures, and incorporated the cubes into their creations. Can't thank you enough for your incredible influence on my students and in my classroom!!
