Students are enjoying being able to work on puzzles in smaller groups. They have more choice in which puzzles they put together and they do not lose pieces because they can put their work out of the way of my core classes.\r\nWorking on the puzzles presents a non threatening way to interact with each other and with me. It has been a joy to listen to the students' stories as they share their hopes and dreams as well as their disappointments and struggles. They have been more engaged in not only this group, but in their academic classes as they feel more confident in their problem-solving skills. One student recently commented that he had no idea he was so good at pattern analysis and shared how he had analyzed the motifs (patterns) in a recent novel for his Language Arts class. He was able to make that connection between his skills with puzzles and his academics. Students have been more open to looking at things from another perspective, a skill needed when solving puzzles. They realize that a new angle may shed light on an otherwise difficult situation.\r\nThank you agin for your generosity and I hope you see the difference you are making.","fullyFundedDate":1736986691599,"projectUrl":"project/piece-it-together-puzzle-fun/9004227/","projectTitle":"Piece it Together: Puzzle Fun","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Smith","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/272x272/tp2634567_272x272.jpg?width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1483644284110","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/2634567"},{"teacherId":9250907,"projectId":8600159,"letterContent":"I can't thank you enough for your generous donation to my AIVD (Advancement Via Individual Determination) class.
