Our students continue to feel special and excited when there is a knock on the classroom door during second hour and a birthday cup is delivered to the Birthday Boy or Girl. This is another positive interaction that we incorporate into the day. Our students with significant needs assemble and deliver these cups throughout the school. Students stop and greet the kids that deliver the cups, encouraging inclusion for all . In the past our students with special needs went unnoticed.\r\n\r\nOur monthly birthday party is a hit as well! Our girls group holds a celebration once a month to further recognize the students and staff in our school for their trip around the sun. A variety of ice creams and toppings are available for students to choose from to create their own delectable treat! ALL of this would not be possible without your support to buy the materials.
