It was like a celebration on the playground. Every child wanted a turn, and the joy was truly contagious. Your generous donation has made a real difference in our day-to-day activities, and we are so grateful.\r\nIn our TK class, we only have P.E. twice a week, so having this new opportunity for movement and outdoor fun has been a game-changer. We use the tricycles several days a week during center time, and the students just can't get enough of them. They are not only having a blast but also developing important gross motor skills like coordination and balance. As you might notice in some of the photos, our large play area is half grass and half cement, with a track already painted on the cement—making it a perfect match for the trikes!\r\nTo make sure every child can use the helmets safely, we provided each student with a reusable shower cap to wear underneath. This simple solution helps us keep things sanitary and ensures all students can take turns riding safely. Your support has brought so much joy and movement to our school day, and we can't thank you enough for making that possible.\r\nHere is what some of the students said:\r\nAlessa \"I like to ride it.\"\r\nAnna Julia \"I love playing on tricycles and it's so fun!\"\r\nAthena \"I love riding the tricycle because they're fun!\"\r\nJosue \"I had one but it broke so I like to ride at school.\"\r\nJulian \"I only got to ride a big one and I never rode a small one before.\"\r\nLucas \"I think it's so fun\"\r\nNaail \"I never rode one and I always wanted to ride one.\"\r\nSolomon \"They're super fun!\"\r\n\r\nWith Gratitude\r\n\r\nMrs. Kepp, Mrs. Gilbert and the TK Class","fullyFundedDate":1738980273150,"projectUrl":"project/help-with-basic-motor-skills-help-buy-t/9001809/","projectTitle":"Help With Basic Motor Skills, Help Buy Tricycles","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Kepp","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-6_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/tkclass"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_4623","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":243,"numTeachers":13,"percentFrplEligible":42,"percentAsian":12,"percentBlack":0,"percentWhite":19,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":49,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"Pre-K - 5","studentTeacherRatio":"18.7:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":false,"metroType":"URBAN","ncesMetroType":"CITY_MIDSIZE"},"inStateSupporters":90.2,"schoolId":4623,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Meadow Heights Elementary School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Meadow Heights Elementary School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/california/san-mateo-foster-city-sch-dist/meadow-heights-elementary-school/4623"}
