I am a special education teacher who teaches 4th and 5th grade students in the areas of reading, math, writing, and behavior supports. I have been with my 5th grade group for three years and they have become like my second family. I have watched them grow and mature, laugh and learn, and everything in between. I wanted to give each of these 5th grade students this book to help remind them that they are capable of anything that they set their mind to in middle school and beyond. All of their teachers wrote an individualized note inside of their book for them to be able to read and reflect on our love and support for them. The snacks were so helpful during testing to help and keep their minds and bellies full and focused.
