Because of your generosity, my students now have access to wobble stools, wobble cushions, a weighted animal, a countdown timer, and a PowerPoint clicker. We are already using these resources every day. The wobble stools and cushions help students who need movement stay focused during reading and math lessons, and the weighted animal has become a calming tool that helps students regulate their emotions when they are feeling overwhelmed. The countdown timer has been especially helpful for transitions and independent work, giving students a clear sense of how long they have to complete a task and helping our classroom run more smoothly.\r\n\r\nWhen the students first saw the materials, they were so excited. Many of them immediately noticed how the wobble stools and cushions made sitting more comfortable and fun, and they were eager to try them out. It was wonderful to see students who sometimes struggle to stay seated or focused become more engaged and confident in their work. The timer and clicker also made our lessons feel more interactive, and students loved watching the timer as they worked.\r\n\r\nLooking ahead, we will continue using these tools to support focus, self-regulation, and independence in our daily lessons. As we move into more small-group work and project-based learning, these resources will help students stay engaged and manage their time effectively. They love art and using it to be creative. Thank you for donating all of the art supplies we could dream of for our little classroom. My 5th graders are so excited to start using the markers that were donated.\r\n\r\nAlso the other thing the kids were stoked about were the 2 clocks. In our classroom we only have one and it is a tiny pop up clock on my desk.
