Because of your support, our choir students now have access to technology that is transforming the way they learn, practice, and engage with music.\r\n\r\nThe tablets have helped make music education more interactive, accessible, and student-centered. Students are now able to access digital sheet music, rehearsal tracks, music theory activities, and performance resources directly from their devices. This has allowed them to practice more independently, review difficult musical sections at their own pace, and receive immediate feedback through recording and playback tools. Many of our students are familiar with technology socially, but using it as an educational tool in the fine arts has opened their eyes to new ways of learning and growing as musicians.\r\n\r\nOne of the most exciting parts for students has been the ability to collaborate and learn in real time. They enjoy using the tablets during sectionals, rehearsals, and classroom activities because it makes learning feel engaging and relevant. Students who once struggled with confidence in reading music or learning vocal parts have become more motivated and willing to participate because the technology provides additional support and flexibility. It has also helped students take more ownership of their learning by giving them resources they can use both in class and at home.\r\n\r\nYour generosity has done far more than provide devices. You have helped create opportunities for creativity, independence, and growth within our choir program. These tablets are helping students strengthen critical thinking, communication, collaboration, and musical skills that will benefit them far beyond the classroom. Thank you for believing in our students and for supporting the arts in education. Your kindness and generosity are making a lasting difference in the lives of the MHS Warhawk Singers.","fullyFundedDate":1769177052003,"projectUrl":"project/tablets-for-talent-opening-doors-throug/9866208/","projectTitle":"Tablets for Talent: Opening Doors Through Music & Technology","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Neal","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/272x272/tp5389200_272x272.jpg?width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1526421602148","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/ms-neal-singers"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_126279","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":1359,"numTeachers":null,"percentFrplEligible":77,"percentAsian":0,"percentBlack":81,"percentWhite":3,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":9,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","percentHawaiianImputed":0,"percentMultiracialImputed":5,"gradesServed":"9 - 12","studentTeacherRatio":null,"demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"SUBURBAN","ncesMetroType":"SUBURB_LARGE"},"inStateSupporters":52.8,"schoolId":126279,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about McDonough High School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"McDonough High School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/georgia/henry-county-schools/mcdonough-high-school/126279"}
