My students, especially those with disabilities, have become more motivated to participate when reading activities are interactive, hands-on, and fun. The combination of visual, auditory, and hands-on learning has helped make reading skills more accessible and has given students opportunities to practice without feeling overwhelmed or frustrated. I have seen students become more willing to participate, take risks, and celebrate their successes, which has helped build both their confidence and their enthusiasm for reading.\r\n\r\nThese materials have also allowed me to create a more positive, low-stress learning environment where students can develop important literacy skills at their own pace. I have been able to provide differentiated activities that support a variety of learning needs while giving students repeated opportunities to practice and reinforce new skills. Most importantly, my students are learning that reading can be enjoyable and that they are capable of being successful readers. Having access to engaging, accessible books has given my students opportunities to strengthen their reading skills while also building confidence in their ability to learn. Many of my students benefit from repetition, visual supports, and explicit instruction, and these books have allowed me to provide those supports in a way that feels enjoyable and meaningful. I have seen students become more willing to participate, share their ideas, and take risks as they engage with stories and activities that meet them where they are.\r\n\r\nThese resources have also supported my students' social-emotional growth and development of important life skills. Through small-group lessons, individual support, and classroom discussions, students have practiced self-regulation, problem-solving, communication, comprehension, and identifying and expressing their emotions. The books have provided natural opportunities for students to make connections to their own experiences and learn strategies they can use both in the classroom and in everyday situations. Most importantly, students have been able to see themselves and their experiences reflected in stories, helping them feel understood, valued, and capable.\r\n\r\nI am incredibly grateful for the generosity that made this project possible. Because of your support, my students now have resources that will continue to be used throughout the school year and beyond. These books have helped create a more welcoming and supportive learning environment where every student can experience success at their own pace. Your investment has not only provided books—it has provided my students with opportunities to grow, build confidence, develop essential skills, and discover the joy of learning.
