My students use them every day during math, reading, writing, and phonics lessons. One of their favorite activities is practicing skills on their individual whiteboards because they can write, solve a problem, show their thinking, and easily erase and try again. When the markers arrived, my students were so excited to have new supplies that were bright, fresh, and easy to use. Their excitement made our learning activities even more engaging!\r\n\r\nThese markers have allowed me to provide students with more opportunities for hands-on practice and immediate feedback. Instead of worrying about using too much paper, students can practice a skill multiple times and make corrections as they learn. Our next steps are to continue using the whiteboards during small-group instruction and independent practice, especially as we work on building strong foundational reading, writing, and math skills. The Himalayan salt lamps have helped create a warm and calming environment where students can feel comfortable and ready to learn, especially during quiet work, reading, and small-group activities. The rainbow window privacy film has also added a beautiful, colorful touch to our classroom while helping create a more inviting space for students. My first graders were so excited to see the new materials and loved watching the light shine through the colorful window film!\r\n\r\nThe wired computer mice have been especially helpful during our technology-based learning. My students use them to navigate learning programs, practice academic skills, and complete classroom activities on the computer. Individual mice make it easier for young learners to practice important technology skills while staying focused on their academic work. Seeing students become more independent as they learn to use the technology has been a wonderful moment in our classroom.\r\n\r\nThese materials are helping me create a classroom where my students feel excited, comfortable, and ready to learn. As we continue through the school year, we will keep using these resources to support reading, math, technology, and independent learning. This is especially important because Amira is part of our required state literacy assessment.\r\n\r\nMy students were especially excited to have their own headphones to use. They love putting them on and getting started independently, and I have noticed how much more focused and confident they are when using the technology. For some students, being able to quietly practice and hear their own reading without classroom distractions has made a big difference. What may seem like a simple pair of headphones has become an important tool that helps my students feel prepared, independent, and successful as they continue growing as readers.\r\n\r\nThank you for giving my students access to a resource that they can use every day.
