During indoor recess activities, due to the freezing temperatures, students have been utilizing playdough, which has been a delightful and constructive outlet during recess indoors.\r\n\r\nFurthermore, the introduction of base ten blocks has greatly improved the students' comprehension of mathematical concepts, particularly in understanding tens and ones. Having their own classroom sets of these manipulatives has made counting, adding, subtracting, and regrouping much more accessible and interactive for the students.\r\n\r\nWe are profoundly grateful for the generous donations that have made these enhancements possible. Scholars will have the opportunity to experience the hatching of baby chicks in the classroom. This project allows students to follow the growth of chickens inside the eggs, learn the parts of the egg and baby chick, and care for them after hatching.
