With your donations, I was able to create a care closet for all of the students in our building. My fellow counselors and I support 1600 students in a Title 1 school in the city of Philadelphia. Although our school provides free breakfast and lunch to all of our students, many students are still in need of various things while at school to be successful. \r\n\r\nOur care closet has nutritious snacks, hair ties, period products, hygiene products, among other helpful items. By having snacks available outside of breakfast and lunch time as well as a plethora of hygiene products, students are able to advocate for themselves and ask for something that they need. Many students have expressed to me how grateful they are that we are able to offer all of these additional resources this year and I can see how it impacts their daily lives here at school. \r\n\r\nI cannot thank you enough for all of the resources for our care closet in addition to the calming tools and small group resources for my office.
