Their curiosity and excitement showed just how much this project means to them.\r\n\r\nThe first time they saw the supplies, their faces lit up and they asked, \"When do we start? The new resources—candies, toys, and squishies—have been a game-changer in motivating students and encouraging positive behavior. For example, during our math lessons, students are working toward earning these rewards by showing focus, completing tasks, and helping their peers. It's been wonderful to see how the excitement of earning a squishy or toy keeps them on track, and it's especially effective in encouraging quieter students to participate more actively. One standout moment was during our group project on geometry when a student who usually struggles to engage with others worked collaboratively and earned a squishy for their effort. It was a proud moment for both the student and myself!\r\nThe moment the students saw the new materials, their faces lit up with excitement! The squishies were especially a hit—they couldn't wait to hold and squeeze them! It was like a mini celebration for each student as they realized that these items weren't just for fun, but a way to celebrate their hard work and positive behavior. I had students who were usually shy or hesitant to speak up in class, suddenly raising their hands to participate because they saw it as an opportunity to earn rewards. The energy in the classroom shifted, with students more motivated and focused on the task at hand. It's clear that the visual and tactile appeal of the rewards has made a lasting impact. Looking ahead, we're continuing to build on the positive reinforcement system with even more classroom projects that emphasize teamwork and individual growth. Our next focus is on a writing project where students will be encouraged to write creatively, using the incentives to help boost their motivation for completing drafts and revisions. Each stage of the project will have specific reward milestones to ensure continued engagement. We will also be incorporating peer reviews, where students can earn rewards by giving constructive feedback to one another. This keeps the classroom dynamic and fosters a collaborative spirit while also honing their writing skills.\r\nThese new materials have really transformed the way we approach learning. We're so grateful for the support, and I can't wait to see the continued impact they'll have on my students","fullyFundedDate":1743055921709,"projectUrl":"project/positive-incentives/9053390/","projectTitle":"Positive Incentives","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. L.
