The largest cause of this is lack of access to adequate winter clothing. The state of Oklahoma is always hit by below freezing wind chills and our students do not have the winter gear to stand against it. \r\n\r\nYour donation of brand new winter coats for our elementary girls and boys help us fight back against those excessive absences. When our kids have winter coats to wear on their way to school or standing in line for their bus, they are less likely to miss school. Our students have an entire building to trick-or-treat in and do not have to worry about their safety.
