I was able to buy so many new equipment items that we have never had in PE as well as update the equipment that we had that was falling apart. An example was that I purchased a lot of new volleyball trainer balls. We just used them the last two weeks and every student in grades 3-5 got to have one when they came to PE. They are amazing because they are soft to hit and don't make your arms hurt or have red marks the way traditional volleyballs do. The new volleyballs helped my students enjoy the tasks and ultimately led to them being more successful with the skill because they could practice for longer and the ball was far more appropriate for their age and skill level.\r\n\r\nAnother example that I would like to share is, I surprised my recreational sports club of students with soccer goals that I bought. I set the goals up and we headed outside and they were so excited when they saw them. The group of students had so much fun playing a small sided game with nets to shoot on.
