It helps me with all the other things Iam allowed to do on the iPads. It also helps when we're in WIN and I can Google things for other classes with homework. The charger is very helpful so my device doesn't die if I don't use a charger or if I don't charge my iPad then I can't sit with my table group and discuss other things we might do in class. I knew this would be a valuable tool for the classroom but I didn't realize exactly how much it was going to benefit the students. I am so excited to continue to use these materials in the classroom and to find even more ways to use them.\r\n\r\nSo far, I have used these supplies to make reusable study worksheets. I have printed off worksheets and then put the answers on the back. Students complete the worksheets, check their work, clean them, and do another one. Recently I used them to help my Biology students label parts of the cells, as shown in the pictures, and in my Anatomy class to practice naming bones of the skeleton. In our school, administration is pushing for more student peer support so we also used these in small groups to help each other study. While students could surely use websites to study these materials, sometimes it is hard to find safe, trust sites and sometimes the sites are too advanced. By creating these worksheets and laminating them, I can use them year after year with the student in mind. I've enjoyed watching them work with their peers, study together, and learn in a more hands-on approach. They provided me time in class to work and see students studying the material. By creating various copies of the same information, it isn't a one-and-done worksheet but could be used multiple times by different groups or even the same student.\r\n\r\nAgain, thank you so much for your support of Madison High School and my science classroom. I have found that student frustration levels have declined significantly with the ability to use a real key board. Prior to having the keyboards students were not even able to scroll down the page to continue their programing. This has made them more willing to attempt harder coding languages. \r\n\r\nThe keyboards are already supporting other classes as well. As students write essays the quality of completion has increased The typing skills alone have improved dramatically.
