Each student was assigned a letter and provided a paper bag. The paper bags turned into adorable ABC Vests the students wore. Our families worked so hard together to make their alphabet vests and they were amazing. Having multiple red carpets, we could place in the multiple kindergarten classrooms was so helpful so all classrooms could participate at the same time. They were so excited to walk the red carpet. Our school principal came to see our students strut their stuff! It was awesome! Thank you so much for supporting our students and bringing so many exciting Kindergarten memories here at Hoggard Elementary School. It's such an enjoyable time to have fun and enjoy learning our ABC's as a classroom community. \r\n\r\nThe large Chicka Chicka Boom Boom book was large enough that everyone sitting on the carpet could see it. The sandpaper we used as a craft to make our trees. The 2 other chicka chicka boom boom books will be great when we celebrate Halloween and Christmas. I was also able to use the math ten frame pop its during centers time. They are always a favorite of my students. The chicka chicka boom boom palm tree snack was a hit to celebrate our ABC Fashion Show. I was excited to have cardstock and Welcome Banners to welcome my families to open house. The decor was amazing, and the cardstock was used right away! As any teacher will tell you starting off the school year can be stressful on an already financially strapped teacher and having Donors Choose and donors like you means the world to us!
