We recently moved back into our school which is mostly new and partially renovated. We have a beautiful new multipurpose room with a lovely stage, but we did not receive proper lighting for a show. The overhead fluorescent lights seem more like a classroom than a stage experience. Our students have not had a live performance for over a year. They have endured our temporary location and Covid shutdown. The Nevada standard MU: PR.6.1.2 states students should perform appropriately and with purpose. Our Mabel Hoggard ensembles are filled with hard-working students who deserve to have proper lighting on a well-lit stage. Their performances are always of high quality. We are excited to fill our multipurpose room on concert day. Please help make this concert experience a high-quality one with proper lights. The led lights, controllers and supporting equipment will help us achieve a lifelong memory for the students performing and those attending events for years to come. Having proper lighting is important on a stage. These items will be part of our multipurpose room and stage for many years to come.
