We appreciate your support in getting an additional monitor into our classroom. It fits perfectly on the back counter where our small group instruction takes place. I can connect not only my Chromebook to the monitor but also our document camera. Students are able to see visuals in color, clearer, and larger. They are also able to watch short clips or demonstrations together to help reinforce the learning goal. During lessons where unfamiliar vocabulary comes up, I'm able to quickly pull up a picture to help build background information. When student's aren't sure what the black and white picture is on their papers, I can show them a color version of it. Instead of tuning my back to write on the white board, or trying to write upside down with it in front of me, I can have them follow along with the document camera projecting through the monitor. Everyone can see and I can zoom in and out as needed.
